The left-facing fist emoji depicts a tightly clasped right hand, viewed from the left hand side. The hand is entirely disembodied and the fist is usually positioned as though propelled straight and directly from the body. On EmojiOne and Samsung platforms, however, the emoji‘s fist is shown to be at an angle and all fingers are visible. It is usually presented as being a yellow skin color, though Samsung have opted for a more lifelike light Caucasian tone. Apple iOS does allow for skin tone modification, but this feature may not be supported across all platforms or devices. This emoji is used to represent a punch or a fist bump.
